This is me:

A picture is worth a thousands words- a strange sentiment from a writing major, but I find visual aids are always useful :)

I am a senior about five times over at this point, having gone back to school a few years ago to finish the incomplete bachelors degree that has been hanging over my head since I moved to Florida.

I grew up in Maine, an integral part of a small, close family that has since spread itself across the country. I moved to this area on Christmas Day 2000, to combat a lack of job opportunites outside of serving tourists and mowing lawns in my otherwise idyllic hometown.

Currently, I work full time at HSN as Manager of On-Air Development, which really does nothing to describe what I actually do. I am in charge of a certain branch of the live show team- Associate On-Air Producers, as well as a smaller department responsible for on-testimonial calls. I love working on the television broadcast and were it not for the sad state of my bank account, I would've continued on that path instead of making the jump to "management". And I take every opportunity to get myself on TV as much as possible. I kind of like attention.

Despite my very short attention span when it comes to reading Literature, I really do enjoy being back in school (if for no other reason than being in class every night keeps me out of trouble) and am officially of the the opinion that everyone should take a Professional Writing course at some point in their adult life.

This is just the beginnning of my story. Stay tuned...
